How we collect information

We collect information when you submit a contact form, freight inquiry, job or driver application, or job-alert subscription; when you call or email us; and automatically when you visit the site (cookies, security logs, and similar technical data as described in our Cookie Policy).

How we use your information

We use submitted information solely to respond to inquiries, prepare freight quotes, process job applications, deliver services, and improve our website. Driver applications, background checks & vendors

If you apply for a CDL driving position, we collect information required under FMCSA/DOT hiring rules and may obtain consumer reports or investigative consumer reports for employment purposes under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This may include motor vehicle records (MVR), FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) crash and inspection data, prior employer safety performance and drug/alcohol history inquiries, and other background checks through authorized consumer reporting agencies or screening vendors acting on our behalf.

SSN and other sensitive identifiers are used only for identity verification, employment eligibility, required recordkeeping, and authorized screening. Access is limited to authorized recruiting and compliance personnel and service providers under confidentiality obligations.

Security

Data is stored on secure servers and access is limited to authorized personnel. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including encryption in transit for online applications.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Driver qualification files, employment applications, and supporting documents are retained in accordance with FMCSA and DOT recordkeeping requirements (including applicable periods under 49 CFR Parts 382 and 391). When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

SMS communications

If you provide a phone number on a form or application, you consent to receive SMS messages from Plan B Logistics INC about your inquiry, application, recruiting, dispatch, and related operational updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of applying for employment or requesting a quote, except that we need a way to reach you about your submission.
